Haute Midwest Magazine to Partner with Designer GSIA and Anani Salon & Spa to Host Holiday Makeover & Charity Fashion Show With Special Guest Miss Iowa Teen USA
WEST DES MOINES November 27, 2013 – IOWA based Fashion publication, Haute Midwest (HM) Magazine (hautemidwest.com) is partnering with apparel / accessory designer, GSIA (Shenica Graham) of WEST DES MOINES, and Anani Salon & Spa of ANKENY (ananisalonandspa.com), to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa. This Midwest fashion week began December 13, with a holiday makeover for Katie Woodward of Ankeny, Iowa. Events culminate in a fashion show with special guest, Miss Iowa Teen USA Amanda Armstrong.
Anani Salon & Spa, (Top 100 Salon in America / Elle Magazine (2010)), the Official Makeover Headquarters of Haute Midwest Magazine, hosted a fabulous total transformation for Haute Midwest’s Makeover Marathon winner, Katie Woodward (pictured above from Charity Benefit on December 21st : (L to R) : Miss Iowa Teen USA Amanda Armstrong, HM MODEL Nora wearing “Bellerina” by GSIA, Katie Woodward wearing “Marigold” by GSIA).
HM spent the day with Katie on December 13th at Anani Salon & Spa where Katie received the utmost quality customer service and professional treatments including massage, facial, haircut and color, makeup application, and shellac manicure.

Katie also received a one complete look from GSIA designs. GSIA was most recently featured in the November 2013 House of Sherell Fashion Show at the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), and on the November 2013 Cover of Haute Midwest Magazine, and the December 2013 Cover of Haute Midwest Magazine.
To round out this exciting week, Katie had a makeover reveal by GSIA, Official Designer of Haute Midwest Magazine, when the designer previewed her Spring 2014 GSIA Fusion line at the West Des Moines Public Library on Saturday, December 21st. All proceeds benefited Big Brothers Big Sisters.
